Bespoke Floral Design

Rambling, romantic wedding flowers designed with you in mind.

With bespoke floral design, I encourage you to let your imagination run wild!

I’ll collaborate closely with you to create stunning arrangements and installations that showcase your style and respect the seasons.

How The Bride and Bloom Bespoke Floral Design Experience Works…

Designing your flowers and getting playful with ideas about colour and texture should be one of the most fun bits of the wedding planning journey, don’t you think? As well as creating a beautiful end result, it’s always my goal to make the process as simple, enjoyable and stress-free for you as possible.

Here’s how you’ll go from initial hello,
to finished wedding flowers:

01.

Let’s Chat

Send me an enquiry on the contact page and if I’m available for your wedding date, the next step is to book in a consultation. I love this part. We get to spend at least an hour talking weddings, flowers and favourite things, so I can really understand the look and feel you’re after for your bespoke floral design. We’ll look at images together and bounce lots of ideas around – it’s always a really fun and inspiring chat.

02.

Visionary Florals

Shortly after our chat you will receive your own Bespoke proposal that beautifully captures the spirit of your Floral dreams with a mood board , colour palette and itemisation of the Floral displays you’d like. This will also include a list & visuals of British flowers that may be available for your wedding date.

If you like what you see and you’d like to go ahead, a non-refundable booking fee is due to secure your date in my diary.

03.

You Said YES !

Now you will receive a welcome pack with your own login details to an online portal which helps keep everything organised and in one place. I encourage lots of communication between us as your wedding plans develop – I love to see images of dresses, shoes & table décor! These can all be uploaded to the portal too.

As your wedding approaches, we’ll have another call to go through everything and finalise all your floral requirements. I’ll also excitedly share BTS footage via social media in the week prior to your wedding day, so that you can enjoy the build up to seeing your Wedding flowers

04.

The Big Day

And then suddenly, it’s your wedding day! You can relax knowing everything is completely under control. I’ll have liaised with your venue in the months & weeks beforehand to arrange set up, and will make sure everything is as beautiful as you dreamed.

Aside from set up, I just love to present to you (in person) all the Bridal Party flowers. There may be hugs & if I’m lucky, happy tears. I’ll talk you through each stem and of course show you how to hold your bouquet or attach your boutonnieres.

To help you think a bit about budgeting for your floral design, many of my couples find their ‘bespoke design’ sweet spot to be around the £3500 mark. Use the Guide below “The Floral Spend” to help you visualise what your investment with me might achieve.

Burning Questions?

You’ve probably never needed to work with a florist on this sort of scale before, and I totally understand that things can feel overwhelming. I’ve put together a list of FAQs that should help to make things crystal clear, and if your question isn’t answered here, you can always contact me on email at: enquiries@brideandbloom.co

What does it mean to work only with seasonal flowers?2024-10-17T08:25:31+00:00

Seasonality in floristry means letting the time of year dictate the flowers that are available to you, rather than choosing to import or fly in more ‘exotic’ or out of season varietals at a time of year they wouldn’t naturally be grown in the UK.

I strive to use 100% British, 100% of the year – therefore working seasonally & sustainably. IF imports were to be used I would look to order flowers that compliment and work in harmony with the time of year & your floral brief.

How much should we budget for our wedding flowers?2024-06-07T13:38:57+00:00

This is a great question, but it’s one that’s tricky for me to answer as every wedding’s budget and requirements are unique. For my Bespoke Design Service, the average spend is around £2500 but couples frequently spend a bit more than this, with the ‘sweet spot’ being around the £3,500 mark. Use my helpful guide “The Floral Spend to help you visualise what your investment with me might look like.

However I do absolutely understand that not everyone has this sort of budget in mind, so I’ve created my Curated Floral Design service for smaller weddings and a fuss free way of working together.

How do I find out what’s in season for my wedding date?2023-10-03T12:42:58+00:00

You can browse my wedding gallery, which is split by season to get an idea of what’s available when OR head on over to my Pinterest account where you can find dedicated boards for each season. Don’t worry – we’ll have a good old chat about all your options during our consultation call, and I’ll make sure you have a really good idea of the season’s star players and more unusual little gems as well.

Do you ever import your flowers from abroad?2024-10-17T08:22:12+00:00

My aim is to work with 100% British flowers, 100% of the time, using my trusted local growers. However from time to time it is not always possible to use 100% British and I may need use imported flowers to achieve a floral brief- this is especially true of weddings with bigger floral spends or when flowers have been adversely affected by our weather. (driving rain, floods, early/ late frosts).

IF imported flowers are used they will be seasonal and in keeping with your floral brief and would be flagged to you so you are aware.

I’m having a very small wedding and only looking for bouquets and buttonholes, but I love your style. Can you help?2023-10-03T12:41:07+00:00

Yes! The Curated Floral Design service allows you to select from a range of floral elements that you need, specify your colour palette, and let me do the rest. One of the packages I’ve put together here focuses on bouquets and buttonholes and is perfect for micro weddings and elopements.

Award Winning Floral Design

Doing what I love, for people in love is truly wonderful. I’m thrilled to share this wonderful video testimonial with you and that my work has not only been recognised by my lovely couples but by some of the most prestigious awards in the industry & Wedding Blogs.
