Bespoke Floral Design

Rambling, romantic wedding flowers designed with you in mind.

With bespoke floral design, I encourage you to let your imagination run wild! I’ll collaborate closely with you to create stunning arrangements and installations that showcase your style and respect the seasons.

How The Bride and Bloom Bespoke Floral Design Experience Works…

Designing your flowers and getting playful with ideas about colour and texture should be one of the most fun bits of the wedding planning journey, don’t you think? As well as creating a beautiful end result, it’s always my goal to make the process as simple, enjoyable and stress-free for you as possible.

To help you think a bit about budgeting for your floral design, my minimum spend for this service is £2000, with many couples finding the ‘bespoke design’ sweet spot to be around the £3500 mark.

Here’s how you’ll go from initial hello,
to finished wedding flowers:

1.

Send me an enquiry on the contact page, telling me your wedding date and a little about your plans. I’ll send you an email packed full on information, and invite you to send over some initial images that you’ve found inspiring to help me get a feel for your style and whether we’ll be a good fit.

2.

If I’m available for your wedding date, the next step is to book in a consultation. I love this part. We get to spend at least an hour talking weddings, flowers and favourite things, so I can really understand the look and feel you’re after for your bespoke floral design. We’ll look at images together and bounce lots of ideas around – it’s always a really fun and inspiring chat.

3.

The next step is for me to get my thinking cap on and put together a bespoke mood board and colour palette for you. I’ll also send over an itemised quote so you can see exactly what your flowers will cost and how that fee will be allocated.

4.

If you like what you see and you’d like to go ahead, at this stage a non-refundable booking fee is due to secure your date in my diary. The quote can absolutely be tweaked at this stage, and I encourage lots of communication between us as your wedding plans develop. We can stay in touch on email or Whatsapp – whichever works best for you.

5.

At around the ‘four months to go’ mark, we’ll have another call to go through everything, and finalise all your floral elements, and your final balance will be payable with six weeks to go.

6.

And then suddenly, it’s your wedding day! You can relax knowing everything is completely under control. I’ll liaise with your venue in the days beforehand to arrange set up, and will make sure every space is flowered with the wildly romantic designs that have been created just for you. I love the chance to meet you in person, to hand deliver your bouquets and boutonnieres (and probably give very big hugs, too).

Burning Questions?

You’ve probably never needed to work with a florist on this sort of scale before, and I totally understand that things can feel overwhelming. I’ve put together a list of FAQs that should help to make things crystal clear, and if your question isn’t answered here, you can always contact me on email at: enquiries@brideandbloom.co

What does it mean to work only with seasonal flowers?2023-10-03T12:43:21+00:00

Seasonality in floristry means letting the time of year dictate the flowers that are available to you, rather than choosing to import or fly in more ‘exotic’ or out of season varietals at a time of year they wouldn’t naturally be grown in the UK.

How much should we budget for our wedding flowers?2023-10-03T12:42:05+00:00

This is a great question, but it’s one that’s tricky for me to answer as every wedding’s budget and requirements are unique. For my Bespoke Design Service, I have a minimum spend of £2000, but couples frequently spend more than this, with the ‘sweet spot’ being around the £3,500 mark.

I absolutely understand that not everyone has this sort of budget in mind, and I’ve created my Curated Floral Design service for smaller weddings, or weddings on a smaller budget.

How do I find out what’s in season for my wedding date?2023-10-03T12:42:58+00:00

You can browse my wedding gallery, which is split by season to get an idea of what’s available when OR head on over to my Pinterest account where you can find dedicated boards for each season. Don’t worry – we’ll have a good old chat about all your options during our consultation call, and I’ll make sure you have a really good idea of the season’s star players and more unusual little gems as well.

Do you ever import your flowers from abroad?2023-10-03T12:41:34+00:00

No, I work with 100% British flowers, using growers and flower farmers local to me in Worcester wherever I can. This means my work (and your wedding) is more planet friendly, and the flowers we use will be at their beautiful best.

I’m having a very small wedding and only looking for bouquets and buttonholes, but I love your style. Can you help?2023-10-03T12:41:07+00:00

Yes! The Curated Floral Design service allows you to select from a range of floral elements that you need, specify your colour palette, and let me do the rest. One of the packages I’ve put together here focuses on bouquets and buttonholes and is perfect for micro weddings and elopements.

Award Winning Floral Design

Doing what I love for people in love is truly wonderful. I’m thrilled that my work has been recognised by some of the most prestigious awards in the industry. I’m honoured that Bride and Bloom has won West Midlands Regional Florist of the Year 2020, from The Wedding Industry Awards and more recently The Women Who Worcestershire, Create Award.
