One year on…
C & T celebrate their first Wedding Anniversary later this month, so it seemed very timely to share a few photos from their big day, held at the stunning Barns & Yard.
I was introduced to this lovely couple by Laura at Studio 81, who had been commissioned to do “on the day” coordination and styling.
Charlotte was so lovely on our initial consultation call and I felt an instant click with her (and I think she did with me). We chatted all things floral, landing on a very relaxed, informal and natural floral look using seasonal ingredients in shade of pink, white, cream and greenery in a range of flower shapes and colours.
Like C&T, you can draw your April Wedding inspiration from the surrounding countryside, with a very layered and wild aesthetic that, to be honest, suits Barns & Yard to a T. Flower varieties included; Double Tulips, Ranunculus, Cherry Blossom, Hellebores, Narcissi, Fritillaria, Anemones and of course, those beautiful Butterfly Ranunculus.
One of the highlights for this lovely April Wedding was during the presentation of the Bridal Party florals which included a small Posey for their daughter.
She was so very taken and mesmerised by her flowers, and it was a wonderful moment for everyone.
I’m not sure how we’re nearly at the one year anniversary already but here we are… Enjoy perusing these beautiful photos by myself and Pixie Abbott Photography.
For the Ceremony space (aka The Cartshed) I placed Meadow flowers down the aisle and two statement Urns at the top to frame C&T. The great thing about these floral items is that they are all moveable and can be repurposed elsewhere after the ceremony.
The reception tables were adorned with low compote style arrangements which work on both long and round tables. The Top Table made use of a selection of bud vases and bottles which were grouped and paired with tapered candles.
” Hannah was an absolute dream to work with and we loved her from our first meeting. When we saw what she’d created for our Wedding day we were over the moon, we have never seen anything so beautiful! ”

I hope this blog post has served as some inspiration for your own Spring Wedding… I would be delighted to discuss your ideas further- because, quite frankly who doesn’t like chatting all things Wedding Flowers!?
