Yes, this week I am talking Pastels! Pastel florals can create such a beautiful mid Summer Floral aesthetic!

I wanted to share these lovely pastel creations with you to help you envisage the wonderful mix of soft shades can do…. They are bright but gentle on the eye and bring a romantic yet soft floral aesthetic to June & July weddings. Let’s delve a little bit deeper into colour theory and flower types to give you some seasonal inspiration for your own Wedding.

Looking at June & which Pastel Florals may be available- we see a lovely mix of Foxgloves, the first of the Garden Roses, Campanula and Sweet Peas. As we progress into July, Poppies, Nepeta, Cosmos, Calendula, Agrostemma, Lavender…. honestly, it’s a wonderful time of year for Weddings as the growing season starts to get into it’s stride.

Pastel Floral Inspiration

Pastels may conjure up a room full of pink or apricot flowers only but why not mix it up?

I love mixing warm buttery tones with cooler lilacs and pale blues. There’s something about this look that just screams prettiness but is oh so relaxed & informal. What do you think?
I hope this resonates with you and you may consider a mixed pastel palette for your Wedding- I’m sure you won’t regret it!

Dreaming of a Pastel Palette for your Wedding?

I’d love to hear from you if you are- I so enjoy a Pastel Palette and can see this developing as a 2025 trend as more couples like you embrace the seasons and what’s seasonally available.
